Calgary RAW: Disclaimer
CalgaryRAW recommends that all people considering a raw diet for their pets first consult a veterinarian. There are several veterinarians in the Calgary area that support raw diets and they will be better able to determine if the change is in the best for your pet. This becomes especially important if you have an animal with existing health concerns.
The majority of the products available through the CalgaryRAW website are human grade. Exceptions include, but are not limited to, green beef tripe, green lamb tripe, green buffalo tripe, smoked bones, pet food mixes and items from the "Others" section of the orders page. Some, but not all of our products may also be growth hormone and anti-biotic free, or natural products. Specific products that are certified organic, or natural will be listed as such on the pricing lists. Although human grade products are available on the CalgaryRAW website, CalgaryRAW does NOT recommend any of these products be used for human consumption.
CalgaryRAW and its respective members, principals, volunteers, and suppliers are not responsible for any claims or expenses that result from using any CalgaryRAW product or service. CalgaryRAW is not responsible for the quality of the goods sold if they have not been collected by the specified pick-up time. In addition you agree that all orders not picked up during the specified pick up times will be forfeit to CalgaryRAW. You agree that CalgaryRAW will issue no refunds on forfeited orders. All order discrepancies must be recorded with CalgaryRAW volunteers at the pick-up site during the specified hours. In the event that CalgaryRAW volunteers agree that your order is not correct you may request a refund.
CalgaryRAW is not responsible for any website problems causing a disruption in service. Links listed on the CalgaryRAW website to external websites are available for people seeking general knowledge about raw feeding. CalgaryRAW is not responsible for the content of the listed websites. CalgaryRAW does not endorse any of the linked sites, nor does CalgaryRAW take responsibly of any content or product available through these sites. You agree to use the content, services and/or products from all listed external sites at your own risk.
CalgaryRAW requires members to pay yearly dues that will be refunded when it is agreed to by CalgaryRAW management that members have fulfilled the volunteer requirements set out by CalgaryRAW. CalgaryRAW requires members to pay fixed admin fee on each order placed through the CalgaryRAW website. Fees collected by CalgaryRAW cover the administration costs of running CalgaryRAW including PayPal transaction fees, website hosting and domain name fees, and costs incurred due to pricing fluctuations on products from suppliers. CalgaryRAW is not being run as a business, and in the case that profits are generated the funds will be distributed to our most dedicated volunteers at the discretion of CalgaryRAW management.
Terms of Service:
CalgaryRAW has the right to refuse service to any person and the right to terminate the membership of any person for any reason at our sole discretion. Service can be refused and membership can be terminated for any number of reasons including, but not limited to, disrespectful treatment of volunteers, missed pick-ups, and offering CalgaryRAW services to non-members.
As a volunteer to CalgaryRAW you accept any and all risk associated with volunteering at the pick-up site.
Privacy Statement:
All personal information released to CalgaryRAW for our database is confidential. CalgaryRAW respects your privacy, but may disclose your personal information if it is required by law to do so.
Upon agreeing to become a member you agree to accept e-mail notifications from CalgaryRAW. All notifications sent through e-mail by CalgaryRAW are effective on the date of delivery.
By becoming an active member in CalgaryRAW you agree to having read the following agreement and to accepting and being responsible for all the terms outlined in the agreement.
